Find Refuge in Him

Updated: May 17, 2022

So, Mother’s Day is this Sunday. This is my first year as a mother. A foster mother is a mother indeed, right? I feel like this last year of fostering has been an adventure. A roller coaster packed with ups and downs, stresses and joys.

Through it all, our family found hope in our Heavenly Father.

Lamentations 3:24 (NLT) says,

I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!”

The Lord IS MY INHERITANCE! This means that no matter what happens, God is always going to be our Father. He will always be there- through the doubt, through the trials, through the triumphs, and through every single victory, no matter how small.

In order to receive the hope that God offers, we must confide in His word- both spoken and written. By studying and referencing the Bible, we can receive and find refuge in hope.

Micah 7:7 (NLT) further reveals that our Lord is a savior. He saves, protects, and listens to us:
