Grace

Happy Tuesday everyone!

This week is tax week and we could all use some inspiration and a bit of a pick me up. So grab some coffee and escape the chaos of the world over the next five minutes as you read and reflect:

This week’s inspiration comes from a book written by a man named Paul.

He writes:

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

To some, this concept might be mind-boggling. To sacrifice something so dear as your only child-your precious bundle of love….

It makes me smile to think that God cares so much about us that He sacrificed His treasure.

Do you feel worthy of that sacrifice?

Someone once asked me,

“if you are saved, then why do you need to obey and follow God? I mean, you can do anything you want and still go to heaven, right?”

Here’s the thing, when you’re saved, I mean truly saved, your heart and soul know that you owe it all to God. As a result, it is natural to follow His commands and strive to live a life worthy of His sacrifice.

Needless to say, that does not mean that works get you into heaven. They are simply a way to show the world the fruit of God’s great sacrifice and the work of the Holy Spirit within you.

The Bible says that:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s as simple as that. God loves us so He pours His grace on us. All we have to do is accept it

Poetic Inspiration Can Come From The Word.

Breath In and out it goes, to where? No-one knows. Does it dance across the meadow’s dew or reach up towards the sky’s bright blue? Does it frost the windows at night and sing with the birds by day? W
