Spring!

Happy Tuesday!

Taxes are done and summer’s on its way.

“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.”

‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭2:11-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This is one of my favorite times of the year. Dark clouds give way to sunshine and seemingly dead trees come to life. This is a season of hope. A time for new beginnings.

When my husband and I first came to West Virginia, we didn’t really know how we would make money, where we would live, or even the friends we would make. It’s been a year now since we moved into this small two bedroom apartment. We arrived with nothing but a couple of suitcases and a dream from God.

Now, a year later, we can see the dream He gave us unfolding in front of our very eyes.

Our foster daughter, who didn’t trust God before, is now attending Church and youth group. She has a genuine curiosity about the Word and God.

God showed us that we would help people know and follow Him. He showed us that through our home, many individuals would get help and find the Lord.

When God gives you a dream, it doesn’t always come true right away. It takes a lot of courage, steadfastness, and follow through.

Most of all, it takes trust.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Every Christian I know knows this verse.

I just wish more of us would live it out.

What is God telling you right now? Ask Him to reveal His plan for you. If you are ready and willing, He can use you to reach the world.

Don’t you just love studying od’s word? Whether studying on your own, or with a group, diving in to the Bible is an exhilarating experience. Here are a couple of Bible studies which I have written wit

Poetic Inspiration Can Come From The Word.

Breath In and out it goes, to where? No-one knows. Does it dance across the meadow’s dew or reach up towards the sky’s bright blue? Does it frost the windows at night and sing with the birds by day? W
